I make a walkon appearance in the next issue as a homeless cartoonist bum. I think my hand made sign reads "cartoonless, will draw for food". And I must tell you, it's a very flattering scene, I've never looked so good.

heh, that issue with the sex scene in the background was the first issue I ever read. Had me rolling on the floor for quite a while. Incidently, I got that copy for 25 cents at a flea market. Best quarter I ever spent.

oh, yeah, the stuff in the background is cool......so far I have caught it all, except knowing it was the guys for CSN&Y in the background(but I had a feeling they were famous...)

Maggie from L&R is a good one, so is the the Peter's living room turning into an Artic
Scene (believe it or not, I didn't see it
first read thru, this issue was too intense!)
But my very favorites are the changing T-shirts on characters throughout one scene!

yes, I agree quarter bins are a sacred part of the comic book experience. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have half of the good stuff I got today.

My fave background insert remains the one at Casey's aerobics studio while she's talking to Francine on the phone-- some guy has a heart attack, and Death is sitting next to him, and a few panels later, the guy is getting wheeled out in a gurney
Terry, do you have to alert people when you use their characters, or is it all taken in good fun and not as copyright infringement? *seething over Napster*
